Marked By Prayers! As for me and My house....

Dear Single Mum,

Painful but true, sometimes our Adult children may not follow our Christian Lifestyle ,heritage and devotion.They may be running in the exact opposite direction and as much as we carry this heavy burden in our hearts,God expects us to lift them up in Prayers that they may enter into the fullness of Salvation in God.s time.

As the Priest (Rev 5 vs 10) in your home(Someone that brings the interest of the People to God),it can be an emotionally draining experience especially as you might watch them dig their heels deeper in the opposite directions the moment you actively begin to engage in prayers.

The best thing to do is to keep praying as it is a huge priviledge to be a part of that experience and journey for your child.Who can pray more strategically with authority ,other than the one who partnered with God to birth that child?

Why do we engage our  time, labour ,patience & Holy desperation in this act? Why?

1. Because we love our Children & want the best for them.Romans 13 vs 8

2.Because Jesus Christ paid the price for their lives as well.This is very important to the Master.

   Rev 5 vs 9 ,Rev 7 vs 9

And they sang a new song, saying:

“You are worthy to take the scroll  and to open its seals,because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God
persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.(NIV)"

3. Because you enjoyed God's mercy and they should enjoy it as well.The right and authority to bring someone into Gods presence is a wonderful opportunity.

"But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,  made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved (NIV) Ephes 2 vs 4"

4.Because it is the plan of God for all families to Bear his nomenclature.

"...from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. (Ephesians 4 vs 15)"

5.Because the Lord wants you and your household saved.

They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household.” Acts 16 vs 31


Shall we pray?

1.Dear Lord ,give my child a tender heart, one that is soft and not hard towards you and your gospel 

In any way that Trauma, past pain and rejection from their earthly fathers have hardened their hearts ,I command such stone to be rolled away from their hearts.

Ezekiel 11 vs 19

For children that have immersed themselves in Sin, lord let the Overwhelming love of Christ displace every stony heart and let conviction of Sin(John 16 vs 8),the realities of heaven and  hell be open to them.let them  encounter Christ through Dreams, revelations, vision and other Xtains as well.Plant godly friends and family members their path:Bus, train route etc

Ephesians 3 vs 19 
and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself]

2.Warfare Prayers

Dear Lord ,i pray for forgiveness and declare that the enemy will not pattern my Child's life in a negative way.I break off the power of darkness and generational curse and I called forth Light over them.

It is a beautiful and exciting thing to hear from God. Every Christian should grow to that place as a foundation. However, we must remain firmly anchored in Scripture and stay open to correction, encouragement, and continuous learning. No one knows it all.
